Terms of Service

Welcome to "Maouidi", the technical platform owned and operated by "Maouidi Service" ("we", "us", "the Company"), a company registered in Algeria.

These Terms ("Terms") constitute a binding legal agreement between you as a user ("you", "user") and the Company. By creating an account or using the "Maouidi" application in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be fully bound by these Terms.

"Maouidi" is a technical platform that acts as an intermediary to facilitate finding independent healthcare providers ("Partners") and enable users to book clinic appointments or request home visits.

• Eligibility: To use our services, you must have reached the legal age of majority in Algeria.
• Minors: Appointments for minors can only be booked by their parent or legal guardian, who in this case agrees to these Terms on behalf of the minor.
• Account Responsibilities: You are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account.

⚠️ IMPORTANT CLAUSE

• Our Role as Intermediary: You acknowledge and agree that "Maouidi Service" is solely a technical intermediary. We do not provide any medical services or health advice.
• Partner Responsibility: Full responsibility for all aspects of the medical service lies exclusively with the Partner you booked with. "Maouidi Service" disclaims all liability for any outcome related to the medical service provided.
• Medical Emergencies: This application is designed for non-emergency medical situations only. In case of emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

"Maouidi Service" undertakes reasonable efforts to verify the professional licenses and certifications of Partners upon their onboarding to the platform. However, this process is not a guarantee of service quality.

• Mechanism: Booking and payment for home services are conducted via the application. The user requests the service, the Partner reviews and accepts or rejects, then the user can pay to confirm.
• Fees: Fees for home services are clearly displayed before payment is requested.

• No Cancellation: Once a home visit booking is confirmed and paid, the booking is final and non-refundable.
• Exceptional Case: If the paramedic cannot provide service due to the patient's condition, the user may receive a 50% refund with sufficient proof.

Fees for clinic appointments are determined and paid directly between the user and the Partner. Such appointments can be cancelled at any time through the application.

If the application allows users to post content (such as ratings or reviews), you retain ownership but grant "Maouidi Service" a global, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on the platform.

"Maouidi Service" maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding objectionable content. Users are strictly prohibited from posting defamation, profanity, hate speech, harassment, or false information.

You agree not to use the application to: provide false information, harass or abuse others, engage in any illegal or fraudulent activity, book fake appointments, or attempt to hack the system.

"Maouidi Service" is the sole owner of all intellectual property rights related to the "Maouidi" application. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use only.

"Maouidi Service" may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice for: violation of these Terms, fraudulent or illegal activity, causing harm to the platform, or upon legal authority request.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

"Maouidi Service" shall not be liable for any failure or delay due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, wars, epidemics, or widespread internet outages.

• Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
