Maouidi in Tébessa: booking a medical appointment in your wilaya
Tébessa is the city Maouidi started from, and it is currently the only wilaya where the platform actually operates. Maouidi does not provide care: it is a booking app. You search by specialty, filter by wilaya, and book from your phone instead of working through a phone queue. Booking is free for the patient; the consultation is paid to the practitioner on site, exactly as it would be without Maouidi.
What Maouidi offers in Tébessa today
Maouidi is based in Tébessa, and the team that builds the platform and looks after partners is here. In practice that means Tébessa is the wilaya where professionals are taking appointments through the app.
In the app you search by specialty, filter by wilaya, then open a practitioner or clinic profile: address, services, and how they take bookings. Some work in fixed time slots, others hand out queue numbers for the day — the app shows which one each of them uses.
Alongside clinic appointments, Maouidi lets you request home care: the request starts in the app, and the price is agreed with the provider before anything is confirmed.
We publish no practitioner names, no clinic addresses and no phone numbers on this website. The listings live in the app only, because they change — and because this site has no read access to partner data.
What the patient pays
Booking through Maouidi is free for the patient, with no exceptions: no booking fee, no deposit, no charge if you do not turn up.
The consultation is paid on site, to the practitioner, exactly as it would be if you had walked in. Maouidi neither sets nor collects the consultation fee.
The one exception is home care: the price is agreed with the provider, payment happens online in the app, and the full amount is shown before you confirm.
Cancelling or missing an appointment costs nothing, but it counts towards your attendance rate, which practitioners can see. If something comes up, cancel ahead of time in the app so the place goes to someone else.
Are you a doctor, clinic or nurse in Tébessa?
Joining starts with the partner form on the home page: your name, specialty, wilaya and phone number. We call you back.
Commercial terms are agreed with each partner individually and are not published on this site — they are not the same for everyone.
A partner account is there to manage your appointments from your phone. Alongside it, “Maouidi Pro” covers services billed by use — you pay for what you use, it is not a fixed subscription — priced directly with you. Sending SMS to patients is one of them: it is not a feature that runs automatically on every account.
What about the other wilayas?
Maouidi operates in Tébessa today. That is the whole picture, and there is nothing to dress up with empty wilaya pages.
The stated goal is all sixty-nine wilayas. Algeria has had 69 since Loi 26-06 of April 2026, which turned 11 administrative districts into full wilayas — among them Bir El Ater, now wilaya 62, which therefore no longer sits under Tébessa.
A health platform does not expand by publishing a page per wilaya; it expands when real practitioners there join it. If you practise elsewhere, join the partner list: your wilaya opens the day someone there is seeing patients, not before.
Booking on Maouidi
Install the Maouidi app on Android and create an account with your phone number.
Search by specialty, then filter by wilaya.
Open the practitioner or clinic profile: address, services, and how they take bookings.
Pick your slot. Some practitioners work in fixed time slots, others hand out queue numbers for the day — the app shows which one each of them uses.
Confirm. The appointment appears in the app, together with your queue number if the practitioner works that way.
Turn up at the time or the number shown. Consultations are paid at the clinic. If something comes up, cancel in the app ahead of time so the place goes to someone else.
The steps are identical everywhere — the only difference is that filtering by wilaya returns results in Tébessa today.
Common questions
Is Maouidi available outside Tébessa?
Not today. Tébessa is the wilaya where the platform operates. You can install the app and create an account from anywhere, but filtering by your wilaya returns nothing until a partner there has joined. The goal is still to cover all sixty-nine wilayas, one at a time.
Does booking cost anything?
No. It is free for the patient, with no exceptions: no fee, no deposit, no no-show charge. The consultation is paid to the practitioner. The only online payment is for home care, at a price agreed with the provider and shown in full before you confirm.
Is Bir El Ater part of Tébessa wilaya?
Not since April 2026: Loi 26-06 made it a wilaya in its own right, number 62. Maps and directories published before that still show it as a district of Tébessa.
Is there an iPhone app?
Not yet. Maouidi is available on Android through Google Play; the iOS version has not been released yet.
What if I cannot make it?
Cancel in the app, ahead of time. Cancelling costs nothing, but it counts towards your attendance rate, which practitioners can see — and cancelling early frees the slot for another patient.
