The first consultation runs longer because it builds the file from nothing: the history of the condition, treatments already tried, the sequence of results. Bring your glucose log if you keep one, your most recent dated results, any thyroid ultrasound reports, and the full list of your treatments.

Follow-up is then periodic, at a rhythm your practitioner sets, and each appointment compares what has moved since last time. Have the tests done before the consultation rather than after: with no recent results, the visit usually ends in a test request and another appointment.

  3. Open the practitioner or clinic profile: address, services, and how they take bookings.

  4. Pick your slot. Some practitioners work in fixed time slots, others hand out queue numbers for the day — the app shows which one each of them uses.

  5. Confirm. The appointment appears in the app, together with your queue number if the practitioner works that way.

  6. Turn up at the time or the number shown. Consultations are paid at the clinic. If something comes up, cancel in the app ahead of time so the place goes to someone else.

Common questions

Diabetes: GP or endocrinologist?

Routine follow-up and renewals often sit with the GP; the endocrinologist comes in at diagnosis, when control slips, or when the treatment needs a deeper review. Your own doctor arranges that split.

Do I need to fast before the appointment?

The consultation itself does not require it; some tests do. Ask the practice when booking whether samples are planned for the same day.

My results are normal but I am always tired — should I book?
